“American Idol” Alum Makes Appearance at Colorado Restaurant Association Awards Dinner

BMI songwriter Paul McDonald, who was a top 10 finalist on Season 10 of American Idol, was the featured entertainment at the 2019 Colorado Restaurant Association Lifetime Achievement Awards, held recently (10/15) at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. The Huntsville, Alabama native performed a number of songs from his recent album Modern Hearts, while regaling the large audience of restaurateurs with stories from his life on the road, which has included opening for the likes of the Zac Brown Band and The Black Crowes, while also making appearances on Good Morning America, The Tonight Show and Regis and Kelly

The CRA Lifetime Achievement Awards celebrate individuals who are devoted to the idea of hospitality and practice it in their daily lives. The honorees are recognized throughout the industry for the significant contributions they have made through their leadership, service and dedication to the foodservice industry and community.
