AmericanaFest was in full swing following the official kick off party on BMI’s rooftop deck last week (9/11) in Nashville. BMI’s final rooftop show of the summer featured the iconic Tony Joe White, soulful husband-wife duo The War and Treaty and genre-bending Israel Nash.

Immediately following Tony Joe White’s performance, BMI’s David Preston presented the famed storyteller a Million-Air award for his hit “Rainy Night In Georgia.” The track has garned over four million performances totalling an impressive 28 years of consecutive airplay.

BMI’s summer rooftop series offers a unique opportunity to enjoy stunning views of Nashville while enjoying complimentary food and beverage and the best of Music City’s veteran and rising talent. Stay tuned for more details about BMI’s plans for Rooftop On The Row in 2019.
