Anti Social Camp Presented the “BMI Sessions” in New York City
Anti Social Camp, the largest songwriting camp in the world, took place for the third time June 12-17 across New York City. Over 150 artists, songwriters, and producers celebrated the art of collaboration. This week-long event is essentially the SXSW for Songwriters, featuring 100+ recording sessions and a packed calendar of shows and parties celebrating New York. Anti Social Camp is leading the charge to reinvigorate the NYC music scene and is the first songwriting camp to be a front-facing global festival.
On Wednesday, June 14, Anti Social Camp presented “The BMI Sessions” at the famed Invite Only Studios in Manhattan. BMI affiliates Dan Edinberg, Stalking Gia, Brent Kolatalo and Richie Quake made up one of the star recording sessions, while Andrew Maury, Lucas Sim, Heather Sommer and Grace VaderWaal made up the second. The creators collaborated with the goal of generating new hit songs for the artists in the room.
