Best of Indie 2015: Colony House
Continuing their steady ascendance since first being touted by BMI’s Indie Spotlight back in March, Colony House’s crusade has picked up steam. The Nashville-based trio has brought its signature blend of plaintive, anthemic rock to a wider vista, playing as the opening act on the TourDeCompadres tour with NEEDTOBREATHE, Ben Rector, Switchfoot and Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors as well as festivals like FireFly, Music Midtown and Bumpershoot. The band delivered a stirring performance of “Waiting for My Time to Come” on Conan in June and released a video for the single this past October.
