BMI and American Idol Finalist Help Hotel Association Honor Excellence

BMI songwriter Lauren Mascitti, who was a contestant on Season 18 of American Idol, was the featured entertainment at the Greater Cleveland Stars of the Industry Awards Luncheon presented recently by the Ohio Hotel & Lodging Association. The annual luncheon recognizes excellence in Cleveland’s hotel industry and is attended by hotel executives from properties throughout the market. Mascitti performed a heartfelt set of songs from her expansive catalogue and spoke about growing up in Northeast Ohio. The Louisville, Ohio native has shared the stage with the likes of Brad Paisley, Shania Twain & Lonestar and has performed numerous times at the Grand Ole Opry. She is currently based in Nashville and is touring the country as an independent artist.
