BMI and IHeartRadio Partner on Inaugural Songwriter Festival in Southeast Florida

BMI partnered with iHeartRadio in the southeastern coast of Florida to present the 1st Annual Treasure Coast Songwriters Festival featuring 16 BMI songwriters performing at 3 local venues that have been long time BMI licensees. Pirates Cove Resort & Marina and Manatee Island Bar & Grill in Stuart, along with the Marriott Resort on Hutchinson Island, hosted 35 songwriter-in-the-round shows with award-winning BMI writers singing their songs and telling the stories behind their hits. The purpose of the 4-day festival was to shine a spotlight on the craft of songwriting while giving back to the local businesses that have supported BMI songwriters through the licensing fees they pay.
