BMI Brings How I Wrote That Song to Dominicana Music Week

BMI’s VP, Creative, Latin, Jesus Gonzalez traveled to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, earlier this month, to host BMI’s How I Wrote That Song® panel for Dominicana Music Week. Gonzalez sat down with Dominican producer Chael Produciendo for an in-depth discussion about his career, how he got his start, his inspiration for writing and producing and the stories behind his biggest hits including “Singapur,” “Mera Woo,” “Gogo Dance,” and “LOS POBRES Y LOS RICOS,” as well as collaborations with El Alfa, Peso Pluma and Fuerza Regida and much more. Along the way, Chael delved into his early musical influences and the building blocks of being raised in a musical family.
