BMI brought country music artist, songwriter, and comic host Joe Denim to perform at the Kansas Association of Broadcasters (KAB) annual awards dinner, held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan, Kansas, on October 17. Denim performed his #1 hit, “Pray for You,” which was cowritten with Jaron Lowenstein, along with songs from his album, Hillbilly Soap Opera, as well as some of his outstanding new material. The talented BMI affiliate currently co-hosts a monthly music and variety show at the War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville with radio personality Storme Warren. Guests on the show have included Martina McBride, Billy Currington, Kendal Marvel, Tracy Lawrence, and Ashley McBryde.

The KAB provides professional lobbying, recruiting, education and training for 37 TV stations and more than 200 radio stations in the state of Kansas.
