BMI Brings Nashville Songwriters Showcase to Florida Breweries

BMI partnered with the Florida Brewers Guild recently (2/28-3/1) to present a special Nashville Songwriters Showcase that made stops at two Florida breweries that support live music.

BMI licensees Motorworks Brewing in Bradenton and First Magnitude Brewery in Gainesville hosted the performances, which featured Nashville songwriters Clint Daniels and Brian Sutherland, both with Florida roots.  Award-winning BMI songwriter Daniels, a native of Lynn Haven, FL, has penned hits for country superstars like George Strait, Joe Nichols, Brooks & Dunn, Montgomery Gentry, Jon Pardi and Eric Church. Up-and-coming BMI singer/songwriter Brian Sutherland, is a classically trained musician from Fort Myers who recently moved to Nashville. The Florida Brewers Guild is a nonprofit trade association committed to preserving the rights and interests of craft brewers throughout the state of Florida.
