BMI/Cliff Goldmacher Songwriter Workshop-The Organized Songwriter: Nashville
Being Creative isn’t all it takes to be successful in the music business. This workshop is designed to help songwriters create a work flow from when they first write a song all the way through pitching their finished demo so that good organizational habits become second nature. In this way, no opportunities will be missed or time wasted due to disorganization.

BMI 101 Workshop: Nashville
BMI 101 is a one-hour introductory workshop for anyone interested in learning more about the current role BMI plays in the complex world of the music industry. You’ll spend the hour with two BMI Employees outlining the history of BMI, how to utilize our current services to the fullest extent and some basic 101 tips and tricks to handling your account.

CONTESTS
American Songwriter Lyric Contest
The American Songwriter Amateur Lyric Contest takes place six (6) times per year in conjunction with each issue of American Songwriter published.
Fee: $15 per lyric
Who: Contest is open to entrants in all countries.
Prize: First place winner receives a first class Gibson Guitar and a Shure SM58 Microphone.

John Lennon Songwriting Contest
The John Lennon Songwriting Contest is an international songwriting contest launched in 1997.
Fee: $30 per song
Who: Contest is open to amateur and professional songwriters in any one of 12 categories.
Prize: Prizes are awarded for different levels of achievement, such as Finalist, Grand Prize, Lennon Award and Song of the Year.
