The American Youth Symphony played to a packed house at UCLA’s Royce Hall on Sunday, November 11, as they performed Raiders of the Lost Ark during their 11th annual Hollywood Project, which is co-sponsored by BMI. Immediately following the superb live-to-film performance of the score, the evening included a dinner to benefit the project, during which Randy Spendlove, President of Film & TV Music for Paramount Pictures was honored for his contributions to the genre.

Comprised of 100 talented student musicians, from high school through doctoral programs, the American Youth Symphony is committed to creating opportunities for everyone to experience the inspiration and beauty of live orchestral music. Most concerts are free to the public. For more information, visit www.AYSymphony.org
