BMI’s Philip Shrut and Evelyn Rascon were part of an eager audience during a private screening of the Universal Pictures film First Man starring Ryan Gosling, at the Linwood Dunn theatre in Hollywood over the weekend. Hosted by The Society of Composers & Lyricists, the screening was followed by an informative Q&A with the film’s Oscar-winning BMI composer Justin Hurwitz and director Damien Chazelle.
