BMI Composers Featured at Intimate K17 Concert

K17, in collaboration with Sundance Institute’s Film Music Program, presented a uniquely intimate concert on March 30 that included world premieres and original works by BMI composers Harry Gregson-Williams (Gone, Baby Gone), George S. Clinton (Osmosis), Peter Golub (The 8 Miniatures – world premiere), Anna Drubich (LUV – world premiere), Kathryn Bostic (A View From Other Places and Hide and Speak– both world premieres), Bijan Olia (Streicher Tasti et Bizarreries) and Jongnic Bontemps (This Bitter Land and Heavenly Grass – world premiere). Held at the architecturally and acoustically stunning Mandabach Residence, the unforgettable performances by several renowned musicians were capped off with shared conversation between guests and featured composers over an exploration of harmonious wine pairings and light fare. In addition to having their works performed, Peter Golub and Harry Gregson-Williams also performed on piano.
