BMI Congratulates Composer Jonathan Clay on 2024 Tony Award Win

BMI is excited to congratulate composer Jonathan Clay for winning the Best Musical award for The Outsiders at the 77th Tony Awards on Sunday night. Clay composed the music for The Outsiders, an acclaimed musical play based on the popular novel by S.E. Hinton, with his childhood friend and musical collaborator in folk/Americana duo, Jamestown Revival, Zach Chance* and Justin Levine.* This achievement marks Clay’s first-ever Tony win.
