BMI Congratulates its 2022 Ivor Novello Nominees

The Ivors Academy has announced their list of nominations for this year’s coveted Ivor Novello Awards, and BMI is very pleased to congratulate our writers who are included in every single category for 2022! Leading the pack with an incredible four nominations, including three in the Best Album category, is BMI’s 2021 Champion Award recipient and 2022 Brit Producer of the Year award winner, Inflo, while BMI songwriters also swept both the Best Contemporary Song and Most Performed Work categories with five out of five nominations. Other nods include Ed Sheeran (for Songwriter of the Year and Most Performed Work), Kal Lavelle (for Most Performed Work), Bobby Krlic (for Best Original Video Game Score), Raye (for Songwriter of the Year), Little Simz (for Best Album and Best Contemporary Song), and PinkPantheress (for both Best Contemporary Song and Rising Star).

Representing the most impactful accomplishments in songwriting and composing, the prestigious Ivor Novello awards are presented to music creators by their peers from within the United Kingdom.

The 67th celebration will take place at the Grosvenor House, London, on Thursday, May 19, 2022.
