BMI Congratulates its 2022 Premios Juventud Winners

BMI proudly congratulates our many Latin songwriters who took top honors at the 2022 Premios Juventud Awards, including Karol G, who captured an incredible nine of the coveted awards. These wins give the talented BMI affiliate a total of 22 Premios Juventud Awards over the course of her young career, making her one of their biggest winners in history. In addition, BMI writer J Balvin received a special award for teaming up with Premios Juventud to launch a $25,000 Agent of Change Grant that recognizes individuals or entities who are committed to driving positive change in the community, and the world.

Determined via online voting by Univision viewers, this year’s ceremony was held at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and along with awarding the prestigious honors, the evening featured several stunning performances, including special tributes to BMI writers Wisin y Yandel and Jenni Rivera.
