BMI Congratulates its 2023 Latin GRAMMY Nominees

BMI is once again exceptionally proud of all its Latin songwriters who have been recognized with nominations in this year’s Latin GRAMMY Awards. Leading the pack of nominees is songwriter/producer Edgar Barrera who received an astonishing 13 nominations, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year and twice for Song of the Year. Likewise, Barrera is nominated in three separate instances for Best Tropical Song and Best Regional Song. Karol G and Shakira are tied with seven nominations each.

This iteration of the Latin GRAMMYS will also feature new categories including Songwriter of the Year (for which Edgar Barrera, Horacio Palencia and Elena Rose are nominated) and Best Singer/Songwriter Song. The ceremony will be held on November 16 in Seville, Spain and be broadcast on Univision.
