BMI Congratulates its 2024 Billboard Latin Award Nominees
The nominees for the 2024 Billboard Latin Music Awards have been announced with several BMI songwriters up for the prestigious trophies. Karol G captured an impressive 21 nods in categories including Artist of the Year, Tour of the Year, Global 200 Latin Artist of the Year and Top Latin Album of the Year. Peso Pluma is the second-highest multiple-nominated BMI affiliate with 15 nods, including Artist of the Year, Global 200 Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Regional Mexcian Album of the Year. Other notable multiple-noms were Fuerza Regida and Junior H, who received eight nominations each.
The 31st Annual Billboard Latin Music Awards, which are set for October 20, will broadcast live from Miami at 9p ET on Telemundo and simultaneously on the Spanish entertainment cable network Universo and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean on Telemundo Internacional. The event is the only awards show to honor the most popular albums, songs and performers in Latin music as determined by Billboard‘s weekly charts.
