BMI Congratulates its 2024 Latin GRAMMY Nominees
BMI is once again tremendously proud of all our affiliates who were recognized for their singular music by the Latin Recording Academy with nominations for this year’s Latin GRAMMY Awards. For a second year in a row, Edgar Barrera has distinguished himself with the most nominations. The BMI songwriter/producer has received nine nods, including the prestigious Songwriter of the Year and Producer of the Year. Right behind him is Karol G with eight nominations, including one for Album of the Year.
The 25th edition of the Latin GRAMMYs will debut a new field and two new categories: Best Latin Electronic Music Performance, housed within the new Electronic Music Field, and Best Contemporary Mexican Music Album (Regional-Mexican Field). The ceremony will air live from the Kaseya Center in Miami on Thursday, November 14. The three-hour telecast will be produced by Televisa Univision and air live on Univision, Galavisión and ViX beginning at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central).
Here is the complete list of BMI nominees. Congratulations to all and good luck!
