BMI Congratulates its 2024 Premios Juventud Winners
BMI proudly congratulates our many Latin songwriters who took top honors at the 21st annual Premios Juventud, including Karol G and Peso P, who each received five of the coveted awards.
Determined via online voting by Univision viewers, this year’s ceremony was held at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and along with awarding the prestigious honors, the evening featured several stunning performances, kicking off with Wisin and renowned producer Sergio George’s show-opener, “La Vida Es Una Fiesta.” Anitta, Ivy Queen, La India, and Oscar D’ León performed medly of salsa classics under the musical direction of Sergio George, in celebration of the 60th anniversary of legendary and influential label, Fania Records, performing iconic hits such as “Quimbara” and “Mi Gente”. Other musical numbers featured Mexican iconic band Los Tigres del Norte, who were one of the Agent of Change honorees of the night
