BMI partnered recently (3/3) with the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association on a special virtual concert that paid tribute to the state’s hospitality industry. Florida restaurant, hotel and resort owners and executives gathered to watch the virtual performance by the Trenton, Florida native that was live streamed from a studio in Nashville. Corbin performed all of his hits, including his No. 1 songs “Roll With It” and “A Little More Country Than That,” and showed his appreciation for the support he has received from Florida venues as many of them have continued to feature live music and pay their BMI licensing fees during the pandemic. The FRLA is a long-time partner of BMI’s and their mission is to protect, educate and promote Florida’s $111.7 billion hospitality industry. FRLA President & CEO Carol Dover was on hand to address the audience along with Florida State Senate President Wilton Simpson. BMI awarded Carol with a gold record in 2019 for her long time support of BMI songwriters.
