BMI Educates and Entertains at Museum Conference

BMI helped educate and entertain museum executives that attended the 2022 Mountain Plains Museum Association held recently in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Attendees were treated to a performance by BMI songwriter Graham Colton as well as a music licensing presentation that focused on ways that museums can legally perform music. Colton, a native of Oklahoma City, has had his music featured in multiple films and television shows, and has shared the stage with the likes of John Mellencamp, Maroon 5 and The Dave Matthews Band. The MPMA conference provides training, as well as information-sharing and networking opportunities for museum professionals from a 10-state region.
