BMI Helps Beasley Launch Songwriters Showcase in Wilmington, Delaware

BMI partnered with Beasley Media and WJBR-FM in Wilmington, Delaware recently (11/14) to present the 1st annual Whiskey, Wine & Writers showcase featuring two hitmakers from Nashville. BMI songwriters Dave Fenley and Frank Myers put their story telling and musicianship on display in front of an enthusiastic audience of music lovers from the First State. Fenley, who was a top 10 finisher on The Voice last year, showed off his vocal skills, while sharing the stories behind his many songs that have roots in his home state of Texas. Myers is a highly decorated songwriter who wrote the massive # 1 hits “You & I” for Eddie Rabbit & Crystal Gayle, and “I Swear” for John Michael Montgomery and the pop group All 4 One. The Dayton, Ohio native also penned “Tomorrow” for Chris Young and “My Front Porch Looking In” for Lonestar. Proceeds from Whiskey, Wine & Writers went to help support The Ronald McDonald House. Beasley Media currently owns and operates 64 stations (46 FM and 18 AM) in 15 large and mid-size markets in the United States.
