BMI Hosts Creative Community Mixer with Tay Keith in Nashville

BMI was excited to host a Creative Community Mixer event in Nashville, last Friday evening, at Proof, the rooftop bar at the W Hotel. With an eye for bringing together members of Nashville’s Hip-Hop and Country music communities, this private, invitation-only event was developed in partnership between BMI and celebrated producer and Tennessee native Tay Keith. Keith, a three-time winner of BMI’s Producer of the Year award whose accomplished skills at the production console crafted the signature sound behind hits like “Sicko Mode” by Travis Scott, “Not Alike” by Eminem and his own “Pound Town,” featuring Sexxy Red, has made it a mission to bridge together creators from these two genres.

This event brought together BMI affiliates and industry executives for a relaxed evening of mixing, discussion and networking. Among the attendees were The BoykinZ, DJ Meech, LuhRon, Electric Feel Entertainment’s John Bradley and Cambrian Strong, CEO/Co-founder of Drumatized Records.
