BMI Hosts First #1 Party of 2024 for Corey Kent’s “Wild As Her”

BMI brought Music City together in the lobby of their Nashville office on Tuesday, February 21, to celebrate Sony Music Nashville artist Corey Kent’s first chart topper on Country radio, “Wild As Her.” The Platinum certified hit was written by BMI affiliates Morgan Wallen, Kelly Archer, and Brett Tyler.

The evening was hosted by BMI’s MaryAnn Keen, where Kent, Archer, and Tyler shared their process of crafting the chart-topping song, while saluting Wallen in his absence. Sponsored by Studio Bank, the evening highlights included a donation presentation made by Ron Cox on behalf of Kent and the songwriters in support of the Tim Tebow Foundation, a charity supporting vulnerable people around the world living in chaos and crisis.
