BMI Hosts Listening Party for Singer/Songwriter Trevor Jackson

BMI was excited to host a private listening party on Tuesday evening to celebrate the release of “He Don’t Know,” the latest single by multi-hyphenate actor/singer/songwriter Trevor Jackson. Attendees gathered at MODEx Studio in Atlanta for an exclusive first airing of the single, which takes a fresh, new approach to the Afrobeats genre, combining elements of R&B and hip-hop.

Sponsored by Villon cognac, Luc Belaire rosé and Jackson’s own streetwear brand, Born Art, this event celebrated Jackson’s continued ascent as a prolific music creator. With a career spanning over 20 years in film, television, theatre and music, Jackson is constantly demonstrating a creative versatility and sharpening his craft. After collaborations with songwriters and producers like The Underdogs, Dianne Warren, Neyo and Tank, Jackson spent much of last year on the Obsession Tour with Eric Bellinger.

Jackson’s already gearing up to release further new music in the months ahead, as well as continuing his series of “T-Mixes,” a series of videos on social media where he’s been covering popular songs by artists like Tyla, Billie Eilish, Victoria Monét and many more.
