BMI Indie Spotlight: Ayleen Valentine
Ayleen Valentine is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose music showcases vulnerability and self-expression on songs that explore love, depression, and growing older. Her hard work and dedication have already earned her a place among new artists on the rise, and she has independently released two EPs and multiple singles that have combined to exceed 20M streams across platforms. In 2022, Valentine signed to Giant Music, a label owned/operated by legendary music mogul Irving Azoff, and she has earned co-writes on songs by popular artists including Powfu, Beowulf, and more. Her ability to craft emotive and memorable layers of sound has made her a sought-after producer, and her live shows feature captivating performances that allow her to deliver vocals while going between the guitar, piano, and saxophone. Valentine’s EP, tonight i don’t exist, was released last year, and so far in 2023, she has released the singles “anesthetized” and “stars.”
