Casino Hearts is an LA-based group featuring Nick Minor, Jacob Rubeck, and Forest Holter. Initially formed in Reno by Minor and Rubeck, Casino Hearts released a string of projects and quickly became a staple on the local music scene. After relocating to Los Angeles and recruiting Holter in 2021, the band kicked off a new era. Earlier this year, Casino Hearts released their debut EP, Lose Your Halo, which features four self-produced tracks that blend dream pop, distorted guitars, and ethereal vocals. Influenced by artists like My Bloody Valentine and Björk, Casino Hearts creates a nostalgic yet forward-thinking sound. Their latest single, “A Study In Flesh,” draws inspiration from Panda Bear and Chanel Beads, offering a dream-pop soundscape with layered vocals. The song explores themes of regret and longing as a mother reflects on missing her daughter’s early years. The band is set to embark on a US tour this fall, including stops at the Front Bottoms Champagne Jam (November 23), the LA Lodge Room (January 25), and Treefort Festival (March 26-30). Casino Hearts will be releasing their newest single, “Ice in Mouth” on December 3.
