BMI Indie Spotlight: Dot Cromwell

Posted in News on March 30, 2020

Dot Cromwell is a Philly-born singer/songwriter currently based in Brooklyn. He founded the creative arts society known as Million Watts, and he is dedicated to bringing his music to the forefront of pop culture. His latest full-length project, Full of Sin, dropped last year, and his newest single, “Puff Sh*t,” was released on Feb. 20. Aside from collaborating with fellow recording artists Jidenna and Wale on a song called “Out of Body,” Cromwell has logged studio time with Migos’ Quavo. Cromwell’s sound sets the bar high, with illustrious beats that explore the duality between the tension between two worlds: the black and the white, the perceived good and the perceived dangerous.
