BMI Indie Spotlight: Harvey Brittain
Hailing from Preston, a small town in the north of the UK, Harvey Brittain is a singer/songwriter and producer who is one to watch. Originally a self-taught multi-instrumentalist with his roots in jazz, Harvey first gained a following at age 16 after supporting British jazz legend, Courtney Pine, on his 2018 UK tour. Harvey moved over to the US in 2020 after winning a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston to study Music Production and Engineering. That same year he received support from British thriller writer Lee Child, creator of the renowned Jack Reacher series and the Hollywood adaptations starring Tom Cruise. Child was impressed by the young artist’s potential and has since continued to work closely with the 22-year-old artist as a mentor. Harvey released his latest 2024 single “oceans” on Slumbo Labs Records and already has new music on the horizon.
