BMI Indie Spotlight: Women’s History Month 2023

March is Women’s History Month, and BMI is proud to celebrate with a brand new, all-women edition of the Indie Spotlight! These nine incredible artists are releasing some of the most exciting indie music of the moment, and we can’t wait for you to meet them. First up is Kimbra and her new sonic territory, followed by Hope Tala’s sensitive soul and NERIAH’s expressive sound that we can’t help but fall for. Annika Wells comes next, sharing the kind of honesty you’d expect from a childhood friend, while Halima’s multi-national sound and broad musical spectrum serve as a vehicle for her impressive creativity. Meg Smith and her rom-com pop keep us going, while Ayleen Valentine has us seeing stars and DellaXOZ has us screaming “AHH!!” Rounding out this edition is Grace Enger, an up-and-coming singer/songwriter who certainly has us asking what she’s doing now and what she’s doing next.
