BMI Indie Spotlight: Yana

Yana is a Bulgarian-born, California-raised up-&-coming artist known for her intimate blend of folk pop. Yana began releasing music in 2021 with her debut single “Like It”, which was followed by 2022’s Hindsight EP and a number of melodically mesmerizing singles. Today, with almost half a million monthly listeners, Yana has been featured on beloved Spotify playlists, including Folk Pop, Fresh Folk, Juniper, Fresh Finds Folk, and Next Gen Singer-Songwriter. Yana released her latest 6-song EP, Amy, in October, which included top performing singles like “How Long” and “Haunt Me”. On October 30, Yana received a cosign from Joe Jonas.
