Súbelo NEO is a Puerto Rican production duo comprised of Freddy Montalvo Jr. and José Carlos Cruz (better known as Phantom) responsible for creating smash hits like “Yo Perreo Sola” by Bad Bunny along with 12 songs included on his multiplatinum 2020 album, YHLQMDLG. Notably, the album was the most listened-to Latin album in the history of Spotify as of 2021. Their unique musical touch can be heard in songs like “Asalto” by Almighty, “Déjate Llevar - Remix” by Darkiel, “Fantasías” by Lenny Tavárez, and more, and they have been working with Rimas Entertainment since 2016. With unmatched versatility and a distinct sound, Súbelo NEO earned nominations for the Grammy Awards, Latin Grammy, Premio Lo Nuestro, Premios Juventud 2020, among others; being winners of an American Grammy for “Best Latin or Urban Pop Album” for their work as producers on the album “YHLQMDLG” and BMI Latin Award for “Safaera”, “La Dificil”, and “Yo Perreo Sola”. In 2022, they reached #1 and #2 globally on Billboard with the hit “Envolver” by Anitta, which is a viral TikTok sensation due to its catchy chorus and fan-choreographed dance challenge.
