BMI/NYU Scoring for Advertising Workshop an Online Success
BMI composers Mark Suozzo and Eric Hachikian are lending their expertise to students interested in scoring for advertising this week. The BMI/NYU crash-course provides valuable insights on staying calm under the clock, as well as tips on how to write creative, effective music in only a few hours. The workshop, which is being held virtually, also features panelists and presentations from top industry professionals such as Keith D’Arcy (Warner Chappell), Karen Macmillan (Imagem/Concord Music), and Jay Wadley (Found Objects Music Productions). BMI’s Doreen Ringer-Ross and Reema Iqbal have also shared information with the participants.
