BMI Partners With Project Decibel to Protect Musicians’ Ears
Project Decibel is a hearing wellness initiative for the music community that BMI has been proud to partner with during several of our festival events, including Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits. The initiative’s values, brought about by a passion for music and the music industry, embody convenience, affordability, education, and innovation, with a dedication to alleviating hearing loss and disorders among musicians. By traveling around the country providing individualized hearing loss prevention services at music festivals, conferences, trade shows, rehearsal spaces, music schools, and more, at risk clients have received hearing tests, wax removal and custom earplugs, all at affordable rates. BMI plans to expand these services at our events in the future. Be sure to look for signage at our upcoming festival stages and protect your ears!
