BMI Presents at the Bluebird Café Features Singer/Songwriters from Major Bob Publishing
On Tuesday night, BMI at the Bluebird Café highlighted songwriters from independent Nashville-based Major Bob Publishing, including Josh Grider, Gunnar Latham, and Zach Top, who each gave their own acoustic salutes to country music.
New Mexico native Josh Grider played songs that he wrote during the pandemic, including, “Country’s Comin’ Back,” “Less and Less,” and “Airport Jail,” while Texas native Gunnar Latham followed up with “Leave Me Alone,” “Hearts and Horses,” and “Fast Enough.” Rounding out the evening was Zach Top, who channeled old school country, bringing his southern charm to songs like “Flip Flop,” “There’s the Sun,” and “Cold Beer and Country Music.”
BMI Presents at the Bluebird Café, hosted by BMI’s Shannon Sanders, is a monthly showcase featuring a diverse group of emerging singer/songwriters. The next showcase will be on March 21 with a line-up to be announced soon.
