On Friday, March 8, BMI presented rock band Night Ranger with five BMI Million-Air Awards to celebrate their 1984 song “Sister Christian” surpassing five million radio plays. BMI’s Mitch Ballard traveled to Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth to present the awards to the group and celebrate their outstanding achievement. Night Ranger’s timeless power ballad, widely known for its feature in classic films like Boogie Nights, Superstar, and Friday the 13th, is a previous BMI award-winning song.
