BMI Returns to Third Man Records for BMI at the Blue Room
The evening featured performances by Bridget Rian, The Band Light, and The Sewing Club
BMI was back at Third Man Records on Wednesday evening for the quarterly BMI at the Blue Room showcase. Featuring performances from Bridget Rian, The Sewing Club, and The Band Light, the night was filled with diverse genres and up and coming talent.
Long Island native Bridget Rian took the stage to perform “Milk,” “Trailer Park Cemetery,” and “Centaur A.” The Americana pop/rock singer/songwriter has new music in the works and can be seen playing shows around town. Her latest EP, Screaming at the Stars, is out now.
The Band Light brought rock and roll to the scene. Singing “Crash My Car” and “Honest,” the Nashville residents—Konnor Dolberry, Jack Glenn, Garrett Goodrich, and Trevor Young—were electric. Their most recent EP, Sunburst, dropped last year.
The Sewing Club, a band that started in college dorms, brought their rock and indie flare to the Blue Room. Performing “Sport Mode,” and “Cool Girl,” the five-person band consisting of Hannah McElroy, Stephen Meaux, Justin McKinney, Will Harris, and Zach McCoy brought the heat. They continue to write new music and plan to release their debut EP soon.
BMI at the Blue Room, sponsored by ONErpm, will continue at Third Man Records on August 30. For more information on tickets to upcoming shows, please follow us on our socials @BMI.
