BMI Singer-Songwriter Closes Out Media Finance Virtual Event

BMI singer-songwriter Katie Pruitt helped put a bow on the 2021 Media Financial Management annual conference by performing at the closing lunch and awards ceremony. The event, which was held virtually for the second straight year, brought together radio, television, and cable finance executives to learn about the latest trends and developments in their respective industries. The Atlanta native, who was named by Rolling Stone as an “Artist You Need to Know,” performed songs from her 2020 album Expectations, which NPR ranked as one of the 20 best albums of the year. Katie was also nominated last year for both a GRAMMY and as American Songwriter’s Best Emerging Artist.
