BMI partnered with the Ohio Restaurant Association in providing an intimate concert by BMI singer-songwriter Brendan James at their annual Industry Awards Celebration, held recently (1/28/18) in Columbus. The event attracted Ohio restaurant owners and executives who were in town attending the Mid-America Restaurant Expo, which was held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. James, a former Capitol and Decca recording artist, has played more than 1,000 shows in his career, has had his music appear in dozens of films and television series, and has shared the stage with the likes of Paula Cole, John Mayer and John Legend.

Founded almost 100 years ago, the ORA provides advocacy and education for restaurants and bars across the Buckeye state.
