Hospitality and lodging professionals from across the state came together for the first annual South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association (SCRLA) Marketing & Operations Conference, held recently (07/23) at the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, SC. BMI singer-songwriter and South Carolina native, Lewis Brice, kicked off the day performing “Best Ex-Ever,” “Blessed” and “Summertime Vibes.” Lewis’ debut self-titled EP, produced by himself and his brother Lee Brice, was released via Pump House Music to glowing reviews, landing at No. 11 on the US iTunes Country chart. Since then, Lewis has been named one of Rolling Stone Country’s “New Country Artists You Need to Know” and Billboard’s “Country Artists to Watch in 2018.”

The South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association represents more than 1,300 restaurant and lodging companies and industry-related services providers. They have been a BMI partner since 2008.
