BMI Supports AthFest 2017

BMI returned to AthFest, a 3-day festival supporting music and arts education. Held between June 23 and 25, AthFest brings the best local and regional musicians and visual artists together in downtown Athens, GA.

BMI songwriters showed up in force at the 10th Annual Slushfund Day Party on June 24 at Little Kings Shuffle Club. Featured performances this year included spirited sets from BMI songwriters Von Grey, Thayer Sarrano, The Future Babes, Quiet Hounds, Angie Aparo and The Dirty Soul Revival. BMI was proud to participate at this event alongside ChooseATL, Creature Comforts and SabCo Music.

The festival showcases the best talent in the area and generates awards for the nonprofit AthFest Educates, whose mission is to provide much-needed funding to support music and arts education for youth.
