BMI Supports Composer Inon Zur at Starfield Panel during L.A. Comic-Con
BMI was excited to co-sponsor a panel during L.A. Comic-Con, this past weekend, featuring BMI composer Inon Zur. Entitled Symphony of The Stars: Behind the Music of Starfield, the panel paired the EMMY Award-winning and three-time BAFTA-nominated Zur with Classical California KUSC presenter Jennifer Miller Hammel to discuss the groundbreaking score he provided to this acclaimed Bethesda Game Studios title. The conversation delved into the fascinating world of video-game music and Zur’s creative process, exploring the intersection of music and gameplay, and his collaboration with the Bethesda team to enhance the gaming experience with his score. BMI’s Vice President of Creative, Film, TV & Visual Media, Tracy McKnight was in attendance.
Prior to his work on Starfield, Zur has been behind some of the most innovative and unforgettable scores that have brought beloved blockbuster video games to life, including Fallout, Dragon Age, Prince of Persia, The Elder Scrolls and more. For Starfield, which is the first new universe developed by Bethesda Game Studios in 25 years, Zur’s stirring themes embody the notion of exploration, mystery and the wonder of space.
