BMI Supports First Song Arts Academy Workshop of 2019

Posted in News on December 3, 2018

Song Arts Academy will present its first Workshop Intensive of 2019, starting Monday, January 14. The Workshop is a proven and unique learning destination taught by NYU Steinhardt, New School Songwriting faculty member and Berklee NYC Consultant Billy Seidman.

Past writers trained in the Workshop’s ”Advanced Song Craft Method”™ include Bebe Rexha, Rachel Platten, GRAMMY winners Carlos Escalona and Marc Anthony, and GRAMMY-nominee Chris McClenney, as well as artists signed to major labels, former contestants from The Voice and American Idol and hundreds of tri-state songwriters.

This is an advanced song-craft program for serious writers wanting to grow their skillset to compete in today’s music market. Write stronger songs by learning the Song Arts Critiquing System developed specifically for this Workshop including “Emotional Hypnotism,”™ “Harnessing Song DNA”™ and “Lyrical Logic.”™

The Workshop starts January 14 and continues for four consecutive Monday evenings: 1/21, 1/28, 02/04, and 02/1 from 7PM - 9:30PM in New York City. The cost is $325.00 for the five-week program. The workshop is limited to 15 participants. Writers are encouraged to apply as soon as possible, as space is limited. For more information, visit: http://www.songartsacademy.com/
