BMI Supports Song Arts Academy’s Six-Week Songwriters Workshop Starting May 6
BMI is proud to support Song Arts Academy’s six-week Songwriters Workshop starting Tuesday, May 6, in person and simultaneously live on Zoom. Seasoned and developing songwriters will acquire new and competitive writing skills using SAA’s “Advanced Song Craft” and re-writing tools designed to unmask the creative codes driving today’s hit songs. Members will write and rewrite five original songs during the workshop using momentum strategies and other advanced skill sets designed to utilize the melodic and lyrical techniques used in contemporary pop. Taught by SAA founder, Billy Seidman, author of The Elements of Song Craft, workshop alumni include hit songwriters, GRAMMY winners and major-label artists, and is a proven learning destination for songwriters.
The Workshop meets six consecutive Tuesday evenings: 05/06, 13, 20, 27, 06/03, & 06/10 (from 7pm to 9:15pm EST) Live on the UWS & on Zoom. The cost is $600.00. Songwriters, producers, and artists are encouraged to apply early as space is limited. Click here to apply and for more info.
