BMI’s David Claassen recently gave an informative presentation regarding performing rights and the business of songwriting for the students and faculty at the 10th Annual Otis Music Camp held at Mercer University’s Townsend School of Music in Macon, Georgia. The two-week camp, held June 5-16 and presented by the Otis Redding Foundation, will culminate in a public performance finale at the Cox Capitol Theatre, featuring all the incredible music the students have been working on during the camp. A suggested donation of $10 can be made at the door, to ensure the Foundation can keep providing music programming to young aspiring musicians.
