BMI Travels to Florida to Help Educate Brewers on Music Licensing Issues

BMI hosted a panel recently (8/7) at the Florida Brewers Conference in Orlando that focused on music licensing issues and the legalities surrounding the public performance of live and recorded music in breweries and taprooms. To help with the presentation, award-winning BMI country songwriter Clint Daniels made the trip down from Nashville to share with brewers the process he goes through daily in trying to pen a hit song and the important role the licensing fees paid by breweries play in his ability to make a living as a professional songwriter. Daniels wrapped up the session by performing a few of his hits while telling the stories behind them.
