BMI Annual Review 2010

Posted in News on November 4, 2010

BMI recorded revenues in excess of $917 million for its fiscal year ended June 30, 2010, an increase over the past fiscal year despite one of the most challenging economies that the company has faced since its founding 70 years ago. The record revenue the company was able to achieve continues a decade of unprecedented growth for BMI, clearly positioning the company in the front ranks of copyright organizations worldwide. The significant progress over the past 10 years is even more remarkable when set against the backdrop of the digital transformation of the music and entertainment industry, which has offered new opportunities and challenges even as it has disrupted traditional markets.

Details of these results, along with an analysis of the musical trends and technological advances that helped make them possible, appear in a downloadable pdf.
