BMI Bluegrass Leaders Take Overwhelming Majority of 2012 IBMA Nods
BMI’s bluegrass family is poised to sweep the 2012 International Bluegrass Music Awards, continuing the traditional dominance of BMI’s historically deep bluegrass roster. With nine nods, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out lead the pack of nominees, followed closely by Alison Krauss & Union Station with eight nominations, and Blue Highway and the Boxcars, each with seven.
Revered BMI bluegrass giants Doyle Lawson and Ralph Rinzler will be inducted into the Bluegrass Hall of Fame.
