Broadcast Music, Inc., along with ASCAP and SESAC, is proud to support its songwriters in a new round of the intensive and unique collaborative Songwriters Workshop facilitated by Billy Seidman’s Song Arts Academy. Based in New York, the five week workshop evolved out of the BMI Contemporary Songwriter workshop founded by BMI’s Assistant Vice President, Writer/Publisher Relations, Samantha Cox, and instructor Billy Seidman in 2000. The first five-week session, which started in January, has been a resounding success, with participants learning valuable songwriting techniques, strategies and critiquing systems mastered by some of the most sought after pop songwriters on the charts.

A new five-week workshop begins Tuesday, February 24, in New York City. Writers are encouraged to quickly apply, as the workshop is limited to 15 participants. For more information, please visit songartsacademy.com.
